Job Description

Department: Hardware Development
Position: Hardare/Electrical Engineer
Titles: Sr. Hardware Engineer or Sr. Electrical Engineer
Reports to: Hardware Manager

Qualifications include:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years experience with embedded products
• Experience with digital and analog electronic device development
• Experience taking a device from design to production
• Detailed documentation skills
• Medical device experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities include:

• Embedded design and development
• Architecture and system-level design for new product designs of moderate and significant technical complexity
• Sensor interfaces – A/D conversion, filtering, etc.
• PCB schematic design
• Familiarity with RF design
• Develop and perform hardware verification testing
• Participation in product requirements definition, analysis, project planning, and design reviews
• Writing design specifications
• Assist with agency compliance testing in accordance with EMC and IEC 60601-1 standards
