Background
Orqis Medical's Cancion® cardiac recovery system (CRS™) provides a novel treatment for congestive heart failure using a rest-to-recovery model. Minnetronix was chosen to design, develop, and manufacture the controller, in part, because of our extensive experience with blood pumps and other cardiovascular support products. Our ability to rapidly prototype the device allowed Orqis to meet aggressive milestones in their project schedule. With the system in clinical trials, Minnetronix continues to support Orqis with low volume manufacturing, depot service and sustaining engineering.
