Minnetronix Receives "Small Business of Excellence Award"

May 24, 2000, Saint Paul, Minn. Minnetronix, Inc., a Saint Paul-based medical device outsourcing firm specializing in electronic and software development and manufacturing has been selected as one of five recipients of 19th Annual "Small Business Award of Excellence".
Minnetronix specializes in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge electronic and software products for medical device companies, utilizing the latest technologies to create highly integrated and miniaturized systems. Founded in 1996, Minnetronix has expanded from three employees to over forty. This growth was brought about by such innovative projects as the Electronic Total Artificial Heart and many other cardiovascular and medical devices.
This award, presented by the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, recognizes innovation, community development, growth and/or sound financial management, and human resource management in businesses in the Saint Paul Area including Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties.
