Lynn received her BSCS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School. She has more than 20 years experience in the development of software-based medical and industrial products. Lynn has led development efforts on various medical products including:
- cardiopulmonary bypass machines,
- ventricular assist devices,
- a hemostasis management device, and
- a sterility assurance database management system.
Lynn was named one of 100 Notable People in the Medical Device Industry
by "Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry" (MD&DI) magazine
in 2004. She helped launch the R&D Special Interest Group for LifeScience Alley (formerly Medical Alley), previously served on the Advamed
advisory board on software development for the FDA, and is a frequent
presenter on project management and software development topics.
Lynn built Minnetronix' project leadership group from one to six project
leads, and created a software engineering group. She
was instrumental in establishing and improving Minnetronix'
Design Controls System. She has led the development efforts for several
large, complex medical devices, and, as Vice President ofProduct Development, she
currently oversees all product development efforts at Minnetronix.
